Rhode Island is a rocky coast full of inlets. Deep water drop offs. It also connects with the Elizabeth Islands., which is a chain of oceanic land structures up towards Massachusetts.
These areas are where the biggest stripers live.

Beach Fishing along the shore is a tradition in New Jersey. The board walks and jetties hold lots of species. The ecosystem is also defined by many inlets and marshy areas.
On the Southern tip sits Cape May which has the Delaware Bay on the inside and the Atlantic to the east. Up at Sandy Hook is the gateway to the Raritan River.

Our founder, Michael, has had a love for fishing since he was a little kid. He grew up fishing with his dad and grandpa, and those memories have stuck with him ever since. When He started The Traveling Angler to Cape Cod, he wanted to share that love and passion with others and create a community of fellow fishing enthusiasts.
